Being on the global design team, I helped define the creative approach and guide the design progression for the boutique Vans store in Hua-Hai TX, Shanghai. The space came with a unique set of challenges due to its irregular shape and limited footprint, requiring a thoughtful and flexible design approach. Working closely with regional and cross-functional partners, we developed unique custom materials and elevated storytelling moments to ensure the space felt intentional, immersive, and true to the Vans brand. It was a rewarding experience that pushed us to problem-solve collaboratively and bring a meaningful retail moment to life in a complex environment.
